Arguably one of Britain’s brightest up-and-comers, the young duo of Agi & Sam presented their first-ever runway showing at London Fashion Week. The Fall/Winter 2012 collection takes an interesting stance, commenting on what could possibly represent fashion of the future in a pre-apocalyptic era where materials are derived from recycled plastic bottles. The materials themselves are exactly that, created from recycled plastics in association with GreenPac to offer a wide array of beautiful and bold custom fabrics inspired by iconic materials of the past and present such as tartans and tweeds. The materials are woven in such a way to convey a similar texture and feel while the prints as you can imagine are far from the norm on a visual level.
