Thavius Beck serves as an integral part to the Los Angeles music/producers community. Although he may not be a household name at the moment, his career has been filled with accolades from working with Saul Williams’ self-titled and Niggy Tardust albums, which in turn allowed him to work with Zack De La Rocha and Trent Reznor. Formerly known as Adlib, he was also part of the Global Phlowtations group that were staples in the Los Angeles Project Blowed community (Beck was a member at a point), also releasing music via left field loving label, MUSH.
With the release of The Heavens Bleed Sunshine, Thavius Beck takes us into his melting world of hip-hop, electro and jazz. On this five-track EP, Thavius puts to good use his tuned ear for quality melodies and finely crafted baselines. Being a respected producer for varying acts along with a background in the jazz community allows him to incorporate a wide range of sounds and instruments in his music. This project gives new listeners a taste of everything Thavius Beck has to offer and will win over longtime fans with its true to form fusing of musical genres.
