Lee Bannon is a Sacramento hip-hop producer who has worked with Busta Rhymes, Consequence, Del The Funky Homosapien and Chuck English from The Cool Kids. On February 28, Lee Bannon is releasing his debut full-length album Fantastic Plastic via Plug Research.
Drawn to both hip-hop classics such as the Wu-Tang Clan and, more recently, the instrumental beat sounds gaining prominence in LA, Lee Bannon has always been inspired by an an eclectic palette of sounds. For his upcoming album Fantastic Plastic on Plug, Bannon decided to gently steer away from his more straightforward hip-hop productions, and instead experiment with a sound that is more moody and complex. Bannon never loses the head-nod, but he shows there is a beautiful balance between the left-field sounds of LA and hip-hop.
