Will Smith and Son Premiere After Earth Trailer

The first trailer has arrived for the new sci-fi action adventure film, After Earth. Starring Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith, After Earth tells the story of a father and son duo who crash-land on planet Earth, evacuated 1,000 years earlier by humans. From what we see in this first trailer it appears Earth has become a much more dangerous place in the past 1,000 years and is now an unsafe environment for the father and son to be located. With previous experience working together on films such as The Pursuit of Happiness and with the obvious chemistry of a father and son playing their real life roles, we can look forward to an interesting character dynamic in After Earth, with little in the trailer revealing the details of where the characters have come from and why. The expected release date of After Earth is June 7, 2013 so we can expect to hear and see a lot more from the film before it arrives in theaters.
