Heavily influenced by the Nordic’s utilitarian approach to design that emphasizes the use of sturdy, all-natural materials, Vidur offers a look into its second seasonal range for Fall/Winter 2013. A word that translates to ‘wood’ in Icelandic, Vidur and its creators Richard Brand and Raj Mistry present a label that focuses on “form, fabric and workmanship in order to create timeless, but contemporary garments.”
Next year’s cold weather collection exposes the rarely explored extremities of conventional menswear by playfully mixing ultra-modern proportions with clean, subtle staples and high-performing materials. Highlights include drop-crotch sweats, high-waist outerwear, a beautiful wool topcoat, and high-water wool trousers.
