Originally conceived of by Moonshot Productions to highlight the rich artistic community that calls the Big Apple home, the latest edition of the “NYorkers” documentary series highlights longtime resident and celebrated graffiti vet Steve Powers, aka ESPO. The new three-minute piece provides a glimpse at some of ESPO’s work around New York City, as well as a look inside the artist’s 5,000-square-foot space in downtown Brooklyn – a piece of real estate that Powers somehow convinced the local community board to provide him, free of charge.
