Bentley‘s flagship vehicle the Mulsanne is easy to dismiss as yet another uber-luxury land yacht. Comfortable for sure but racy? Surely not, except that the Mulsanne packs a thumping 6.75-liter twin turbo V8 under that expansive hood. Developing 505 hp, that engine has got the guts to propel the three-ton monster from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds before going on to a top speed just shy of 200 mph. World Land Speed record holder Andy Green recently had the chance to take the Mulsanne for a little spin on the Bonneville Salt Flats and in the process hit almost 200 mph, all while riding in supreme comfort.
