Quirky interviewer Nardwuar catches up with Rhymesayers artist Brother Ali, in a list of interviews which the Canadian journalist held in Vancouver, British Columbia. Here, Nardwuar tickles the prolific rapper’s cranium over topics on Minneapolis, touring with MF Doom, and the origins of his name Ali. This chin-wag session displays Brother Ali’s lighthearted side, in contrast to the sophisticated exterior that’s often represented in his music. As usual, Nardwuar throws a few curve balls in hopes of shaking the man’s balance, but hats off to Brother Ali for holding out on that freeze in the end.
