When OriginalFake rolled out its KAWS Companion Cushion this past summer, the majority of the label’s stockists and retailers were sold out sooner than they could tag and bag the pillows. For Fall/Winter 2012 it seems the Japanese brand is reinterpreting its longstanding character in a decidedly all-black-everything motif. The recognizable Companion character is mocked up in all black and finished off with customary neon X motifs in place of the eyes. Expect availability to arrive with a retail tag of ￥6,300 JPY (approximately $79 USD). A release date is slated for this weekend, November 17.
