NYC Dark - What Happens When the Lights Go Out in Lower Manhattan

While the East Coast was getting hammered by Hurricane Sandy, photographer Jared Levy was able to use the opportunity to catch a side of New York that few, if any, had ever seen before. With massive power outages across the board, a normally bright and vibrant New York City was plunged into darkness and in the process turned into a virtual ghost town. Longtime NYC resident Levy set about capturing the sights of his beloved town during this potentially once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
