The latest offerings from New York-based line Haerfest have been presented as a reflection of the contours and tones of shelled sea creatures. Given the moniker of “Collection D,” the release for 2012 fall/winter is comprised by a range of backpacks, briefcases and additional small leather goods adorned with subtle marine hues evoking a sense of primality about the collection. Stemming its inspiration is from the ecologically diverse Byeonsanbando Coast in Korea, marking a departure from the brand’s usual use of mother nature rather than art and design as inspiration.
