Flying Lotus 'Bedtime Mix' for BBC Radio 1

Flying Lotus had a chat with BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac this past weekend, and while there, he also let go a special “Bedtime Mix.” Pieces of Aphex Twin, Miles Davis and Björk were some of acts included in the mix just to name a few. As he told Annie Mac, “A lot of the songs I chose were songs I was listening to when I was in school,” and further said, “When I was in high school, I just had the most horrible time tryin to find my way, because I really appreciated things that weren’t so popular among kids… those were the kinds of things I was trying to listen to before I went to sleep, to clear my head and put me in a hypnotic space.” Check out the mix here but make sure you fast forward to the 1:20 mark, or if you’re in the UK, you can tune in here.
