Transworld Skateboarding debuts a video interview highlighting number 30 on its list of the Most Influential Skaters of All Time. Paul Rodriguez discusses how he got into skateboarding, his top eight skate influences, magazine coverage and his take on sponsorships. He talks about how his older sister’s crush on a skater got him into Valley Skate and Surf, a skate shop just behind his house, thus planting the “skate seed.” Rodriquez addresses some of the controversy in his career stating that he has tried to open the doors for the skating community in hope that more young athletes can become as successful as he has through big name sponsors.
