Although Justin Timberlake has openly addressed his absence from music in recent months and stated that his focus is more on acting at the moment, the 30-year-old singer performed for a lucky crowd of 500 fans this past Thursday night. The concert was a part of ‘National 901 Day,’ a celebration for 901 Silver Tequila, which Timberlake owns. In the midst of performing with FreeSol – the hip-hop and soul-infused band that Timberlake signed to Tennman/Interscope Records back in 2006 – JT picked up an acoustic guitar and broke out into a few of his hits, including 2002’s “Cry Me a River” and “Like I Love You.” Since there is no word if or when we’ll hear new musical material from the popstar, this live performance and the two movies he’s starred in so far this year will have to tide Timberlake fans over for now.
