New York’s Rizzoli Publications announce the release of Italian Jeans from author Maria Luisa Frisa.  The book tells the story of how a basic garment fulfilling utilitarian needs became the essential fashion item it is today.  The volume sets out to explain the evolution of Italian jeans from their simple, indigo-dyed cloth origins to the worldwide success of denim and Italian brands like Diesel and Replay. Italian Jeans is set to release on February 2, 2012, through Rizzoli.
