New from contemporary footwear brand Gourmet comes this preview of their “Market Price” collaborative collection with Chicago-based Horween. Dubbed “Market Price” because the kicks will be the most expensive shoes offered by the brand – which is better known for canvas sneakers and hiking-inspired kicks than premium leather duck boot hybrids – the line of shoes will encompass at least the 21, 28 and Sedici models (all shown here). By mashing up a hunting boot silhouette crafted in Horween’s staple Chromexcel leather with a sneaker sole (visible air unit and all), Gourmet has certainly created some interesting-looking shoes. Arguably more covetable are the tonal navy desert boots, which come with a more subdued white rubber sole. Available Fall 2012 online and at select Gourmet retailers.
