"Genre de Vie" Documentary Film

Having previously worked as bike messengers while living in Rotterdam, filmmakers Sven Prince and Jorrit Spoeistra discovered that riding a bike gradually altered their internal picture of the city as they became familiar with the intricacies and details of various areas. Hoping to explore the sociological and cultural impact of bicycling lifestyles, the two have produced a new documentary film entitled Genre de Vie. To help secure the necessary funds needed to complete the film, they’ve also initiated a “Crowdfunding” drive whereby members of the public who are drawn to the cause can donate money.
