A Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival 4

A Shaded View on Fashion founder Diane Pernet cites two of her greatest passions to be fashion and film. The fashion aspect is something Pernet has enjoyed a great deal of familiarity with, through a past that has included several notable editorial roles. But with the explosion in video documentation over the last few years, it has enabled her to combine her interest through the A Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival which enters its fourth showing. The short film festival will range from 30 seconds to five minutes “exploring the themes of fashion, style and beauty through the medium of the moving image.” Top prizes will be awarded to Best Film, Best New Talent, Beauty Prize, Best Sound and Best Acting. Submissions are currently open until July 15 and will be shown at the Centre Pompidou in Paris between October 7-9, 2011.
