Takashi Murakami x Google "Solstice"

Google has made it a common occurrence to skin their homepage with seasonally relevant artwork. Whether it be Halloween, Easter or Christmas, the world’s biggest search provider is sure to brighten and enhance an otherwise minimalistic page. For June 21’s solstice signifying the first day of summer (or winter depending on location), Japanese pop artist Takashi Murakami has offered two variations based on his popular Kaikai Kiki franchise.
