Ryan Carney & John Beullens of Kinfolk: Tokyo Convergence

If you’ve ever had the chance to venture off the beaten path from Tokyo’s usual jaunts such as Shibuya, Shinjuku and Aoyama, Nakameguro has enjoyed greater prominence in the last few years. Home to Kinfolk which serves as a lounge and masthead for the bike builders of the same name, the brand is headed up in part by Ryan Carney and John Beullens. Together they have brought enormous respect upon the brand, both as a cool spot to hang and as bike builders. Linked by way of a mutual friend in Maceo Eagle, the two are the highlight of this video as they discuss both their ventures with the lounge and their insights into bike building.
