Lumi: Print with Light

Los Angeles-based Lumi is a design team pioneering the Lumi Process, a revolutionary photographic print process for textiles and natural materials. Priding themselves on bringing photography out of the darkroom, the design outfit has created a product dubbed “inkodye,” and used it to create tactile fashion and furniture creations. The stunning results are images that have suddenly been taken from 2D, and given a life of their own out in the 3D landscape.
