Jay-Z surpasses Ludacris & Lil Wayne for most top 10 songs by a rapper

More times than not, traditional hip-hop acts find it hard to make their way into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. More mainstream artists or those who have achieved great commercial success, of course highlight the list more frequently. With that being said and as he and Kanye West’s hit single “N****s In Paris” underwent a recent surge to number 8 on the Billboard hits list, Jay-Z has surpassed fellow emcees Ludacris and Lil Wayne for the most top 10 songs by a rapper. The Watch The Throne single gives Jay his 18th top 10 track, while both Luda and Wayne sit at 17. Yet another reason to clap for King Hov.
