“In the Gardens” in an exhibition curated by Misha Hollenbach that features various rugs, all of which were woven in Tibet. Amongst the designers of these one of a kind items are Christian Hidaka, Misha Hollenbach, Chris Johanson, Misaki Kawai, Barry McGee, Keegan McHargue and Constanze Zikos, each of whom brought their own unique blend of artistry, style and textile sourcing to their creations. The results are beautiful rugs that range from psychedelic and colorful to structured and traditional. The exhibition is set to open on December 8 at Utopian Slumps in Melbourne, Australia.
