Recently, renowned psychedelic rockers MGMT took part in the ten-years-and-running LateNightTales series to create their own collection of songs that they feel should be listened to once the sun goes down. On the set, you can find the band’s cover of “All We Ever Wanted Was Everything” by English group Bauhaus, which was released by itself last month to let fans know that the project was on its way. Now that MGMT’s LateNightTales is available for purchase as a download, CD, or limited edition double vinyl and CD set, the song is once again resurfacing throughout the blogosphere. But this time, it’s in video form. The visual for the track is a full-on animation created by New Zealand-based director Ned Wenlock. Watch it above.
