Established in 2008, Kinfolk Studios is the brainchild of four friends from New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Australia and Tokyo, Japan. The concept that lies behind this studio stemmed from their desire to create exquisite products that they could only dream about. With a new addition to Kinfolk bicycles, a lounge in Tokyo – creative advertising and media collaborations – the Kinfolk Studios Brooklyn joins their family. They refurbished the place with reclaimed wood from an adjacent building in order to set up their private studio upstairs while the cafe spans the first floor. The cafe was designed to create a comfortable, inspiring atmosphere giving off a laid-back vibe. In addition, they offer signature coffee and cocktails to complement your breakfast, lunch or dinner (and brunch on weekends.) Next in the works is adding in a small pop-up shop in the cafe.
