Asher Roth signs to Def Jam

A Twitter conversation between Elliott Wilson and Def Jam’s Shawn Pecas revealed that Asher Roth has signed to Def Jam. Although he is still operating under the Universal umbrella, it remains to be seen how the legendary hip-hop label will affect his output. The Pennsylvanian emcee will also release a new album in 2012 whereas his Pabst and Jazz project will hit iTunes on December 21. Share your thoughts below.
