Soko - I Thought I Was An Alien (Filmed by Spike Jonze)

French singer and actress Soko, aka Stéphanie Sokolinski, links together with famed director Spike Jonze for her latest alien-inspired visual work. Filmed by Jonze on an iPhone and directed by Soko in Echo Park, Los Angeles, the video tells of an alien love story with the usage of overlapped and replayed scenes. The video was accompanied with a brief interview with Soko discussing the story behind the video, all which come courtesy of NOWNESS. Fittingly, the video premiers on Halloween, Soko’s album I Thought I Was An Alien is due out February 20, 2012.
