The Filson Japan 2011 fall/winter lookbook has been dubbed “The Ballad of Portaits” due in large part to the staged looks of the models who have all been placed in front of a Terry Richardson-esque background. While a cohesive collection, the wearing of some of these pieces seems less than apropos. What do you think, is this a case of substance over style?
