David Lynch - Crazy Clown Time

As distinctive and even unorthodox his approach to filmmaking might be, David Lynch seems to adapt the same formula to his music endeavor. Take his latest song, “Crazy Clown Time” for example. The somewhat experimental track borrows the bassline from Angelo Badalamenti’s “The Pink Room” which was part of the score for Lynch’s full-length Twin Peaks film, Fire, Walk With Me. In order to spice things up, Lynch adds backwards guitar elements to it, thus giving the title its justification. Check it out below.
