Thom Browne 2011 Fall Collection

Never one to shy away from making a statement on the runway, designer Thom Browne speaks volumes this season with bold plaid prints. The look this season was that of someone exploring a winter wonderland in heavy layers and rounded shades. Thom’s signature cropped trousers were in full effect, worn over chukka boots or tucked into high socks. Printed plaids are featured in different shapes on capes, trousers and sportcoats. To add a nontraditional look to the collection, Victorian-esque top hats and long jackets are introduced. Winter whites, greys and reds make the prints pop on each piece.
