The Hobo Style by Porter Classic
Father and son duo of Katsu & Leo Yoshida, the founders of Japanese fashion brand Porter
Father and son duo of Katsu & Leo Yoshida, the founders of Japanese fashion brand Porter Classic, present the world’s first photo book on the hobo culture. Published in association with the Hobo Museum, this 97 page book illustrates photographs of legendary hobos, such as Steamtrain Maury, Gas Can Paddy, and Fry Pan Jack, amongst others. Featured as well are their artifacts, ranging from items such as hats, jackets, and bags to shaving razors and walking sticks. The book’s simple table top approach subtly pays homage to the bygone American culture of the Great Depression.
