In spring of 2010, two talented Japanese designers in their own right came together to form Takahiro Kuraishi. The brand was a by-product of former Number (N)ine founder Takahiro Miyashita and Kazuki Kuraishi who’s most notable recent works which has come courtesy of adidas Originals by Originals. Their initial project come to fruition with the Levi’s Lefty Jean collection, however the two have set their sights on yet another project slated for 2011 spring. 84-74 lab. will include a collection of knits as well as a duffle jacket. The outerwear component will utilize the dynamic Diaplex material created by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries which can change breatability on the go relative to ambient body temperatures.
