Samurai Blue Park was the venue for the adiCup Tokyo last weekend and despite some challenging weather there was some fantastic football played over both days and over a thousand people came down to watch the action. Along with the high standard of football, there were Bento boxes and doughnuts with cold Kirin beers to add to the enjoyment. The final on Sunday saw CA Real Tokyo taking on FC Hummer for the title of the Tokyo adiCup champions and the chance to compete in the final in Herzogenaurach for the big prize of a trip to the World Cup final in South Africa. An action packed final saw FC Real Tokyo (comprised of members from FC Real Bristol and Sophnet) prevail over the boys from FC Hummer in a 2-0 victory.

We’d like to announce that Claudio C. is the winner of the adiCup 2010 NYC and Tokyo Packs. Claudio, you have been notified by email and the packs are slated to arrive soon. To all those that participated, thanks! Be sure to keep an eye out for the next adiCup context.
