Inspired by the upper-class English gentleman, Comme des Garcons’ Junya Watanabe has designed this Macintosh coat and a complementary linen hat for their upcoming “Snob” series produced under Watanabe’s “MAN”. Cotton-lined and water-proofed, the Mac has been refined for the contemporary era chiefly by its cleaner-than-clean minimalist approach. The linen hat is to be sold separately and comes in a slightly darker tone complete with a splash of color in the form of a patterned yellow band. The coat and hat are set to retail at around $1565 and $260 respectively.
