J. Panther Luggage Co.’s U.S. artisan-made bags and accessories finally hit retail this month, after over two years of intensive development and testing. In store late December exclusively at Louis Boston (Boston Mass.), the complete range is also available now from the brand’s own online store at store.jpantherluggage.com. J. Panther Luggage Co. products are designed and tested in NYC then handcrafted and finished by New England artisans who’ve been making upscale luggage for generations. Rapid turnover of designs is eschewed in favor of the unhurried, focused development of just a handful of key pieces. While the products draw upon the exacting standards of pre-1960s U.S. manufacturing, their innovative functionality and detail (both inside and out) is very much designed for how we live now. Built without haste for a long life, they’re ‘luxury goods Americana-style’ that you needn’t be precious about using.
