Olafur Eliasson x Mekanism Skateboards "Your Mercury Ocean" Skate Deck

Continuing their artist series program, Mekanism Skateboards reveal a new project alongside Dano-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. The campaign, entitled “Your Mercury Ocean”, references to previous sculptures made by the artist, with this latest project being even more meaningful considering his seldom involvement in commercial product. Each piece features a chrome finish with a ripple effect and almost double the thickness of a usual board, with 13-ply construction rather than the standard 7-ply. Only 90 limited edition decks were produced and will soon be available through the Mekanism Skateboards webstore.
