Kevin – Rock Star Games Grand Theft Auto IV

My pick of the week is what everyone is talking about – Grand Theft Auto IV. I have been an avid player of the GTA series since its first release back in the day and have been following every chapter ever since. GTA4 has mainly the same gameplay as GTA3 but more. I haven’t had time to try everything yet but everything so far is really cool and much more realistic. One of my favorite things in the game are the radio stations. There’s a ton of channels to choose from. Sometimes I will just jack a car, then cruise around and listen to the music instead of actually playing the game.

GTA4 will definitely detract me from my work so if you don’t see me replying to your emails or you IMs, I’ll probably be playing GTA4.

Jason – SOPHNET. x Visvim Black & White Collection

Another strong collaboration from two great brands which embody the quality, clean and basic style both brands have become cherished for. As well the pack covers all the essentials like footwear, belts and bags. Despite the monotone nature of the Logan, it’s full of minute details including Riri zippers on SOPHNET.’s behalf and all black stitching, all resulting in a classy product.

Season – Chapel of Dawn for Colette Tote Bag

Tote bags are a MUST HAVE summer accessory for girls. Even though i have more than enough tote bags at home… getting a new tote every year has become an annual ritual… wuhohohoo

Eugene – Nike Take It To The Next Level Commercial

Having the opportunity to experience the same situations as the main character in Nike’s latest hit soccer commercial (I use hit prematurely, but lets get real, this commercial is unreal), I feel a bit of relation with the different situations encountered. Ok I should make a few things clear, replace English Premier League with Hong Kong 1st Division, replace the crowd and ladies with old Chinese men with nothing better to do on a weekend and the vision as an outfielder with that of me as a goalkeeper and it’s all about the same hahaha… not really :(. The cinematography is surreal and really presents an opportunity that despite the hard work of millions of people around the world, they will never accomplish. On the odd kick around when I would play out, the feeling was totally similar. Obviously I’m not playing with thousands of pounds a week players but the style of the shooting was very realistic. Nike’s knack for making awesome soccer commercials have created various memories which really go beyond the nature of Nike’s involvement in soccer on a product label but rather the attitude needed to be the best which I truly respect. It’s not about being the next LeBron, Michael Jordan or Cristiano Ronaldo… it’s about being the next person to surpass those superstars.

MSTRPLN X Ubiq Custom Nike Dunk Low "A Step in the Right Direction"

Being Geeky seems to be in fashion now, Montreal designer Stefan Dukaczewski of MSTRPLN worked with Ubiq to create some geek chic sneakers in the “A Step in the Right Direction” project. These unique Dunk Low prototypes have been re-engineered for the ASRD project, the silhouette of the classic Dunks is kept but is fitted with stealthier features, like the flap on top of the shoe and a new lacing system allowing for both conventional and internal lacing. All the electronic components are housed in the left shoe flap stamped with the MSTRPLN logo. This wearable technology features an integrated 802.11 Wi-Fi detector and 3 LED indicator display lights. The ASRDs is rated for a 50 foot Wi-Fi hotspot detection zone and triggered by a pressure sensitive insole. There is no word on the availability of these Wi-Fi integrated sneakers yet.
