Takashi Murakami at Art Basel Miami

Showcasing his free-spirited personality, world renown Japanese artist Takashi Murakami surely had a good time last night at Miami’s Art Basel. Transforming himself into one of his cheery flower characters, Murakami made cosplay enthusiasts proud with a full blown suit including Visvims and green stem tights. Its always nice to see an artist take his work seriously but at the same time be able to poke fun at certain elements of it. More images can be seen after the jump!
