Since 2001, the original LEFTFOOT sneaker boutique has been commandeering a location in Singapore. However, this year marked the opening of a brand new Taipei chapter of LEFTFOOT. The two level store features sneakers up top and a gallery down below. For it’s grand opening, 5 exclusive t-shirts were created for this event. Two of them include designs by Royalefam and MC Yan while the remaining 3 are comprised of logo and mascot tees.

Japanese jewelery makers, Jam Home Made and collaborated with Ready Made to release a 7th anniversary t-shirt. The t-shirt features the use of 7 skulls (an often used theme by Jam Home Made) and a candle on top.

Japanese brand M&M known for not only their apparel but also ofr their interest in woodworking have recently released some collaborative t-shirts with SHANTii. Of the two tees, one features the slogan “Stand Strong”. The other tee features a 12 wheeled banana board. Rounding off the releases are pins, Crip key rings and wooden stools

Japanese brand Life is Good and Hong Kong based apparel line Know1edge have teamed up in an upcoming photography project. A select number of photographers including Atiba, Joe Brook, Jeff Landi, Olive Barton, Andrew Mapstone, Isam, and Diskah will be allocated two cameras, one for personal use and one for an exhibition. As the cameras are returned, the best pictures will be chosen to feature in a photo exhibition that will span Hong Kong, Japan, China, Taiwan and South Korea with the possibility of Los Angeles. For the latest issue of Streetwear Today, authors Marcus Ludwig & Martin van Doren took a trip over from Europe to New York City to interview one of the living legends of street art, Futura. This newest issue of Streetwear Today also feature a new format which was inspired partly by Futura’s saying “Learning New Words”. Although Futura’s feature is the main event of this issue, the whole magazine is packed with great interviews, store and product reviews.
