Cassette recently gave us a chance to preview the upcoming Fall/Winter 2007 line. This collection prides itself on themes drawn from up north in Alaska. Alaska in a way is comparable to solitude, and the last footprint of modern day civilization. As well Alaska evokes several different emotions for us, most prominently one’s battle against the elements. For this Fall/Winter line up, Cassette have taken to the use of old age tested and true fabrics such as British Millerain wax cotton, a fabric that has proved its water repellency since the 1800s. As well, Cassette have renewed their dedication to 100% Merino Wool due to its properties as one of the finest wools available. Although on the surface, Cassette products may feel as though they are simply clean, details unearthed give you that complexity in design regarding fit and internal construction every time you put on your garment.
