These straight leg medium/low rise jeans feature Flatheads famous 3XXXX denim which has gained notoriety for its awesome fades. With the Medicom 2007 Toy Exhibition right around the corner, a preview of a series of special limited edition figures have been released with a very distinct Star Wars theme to mark the 30th Anniversary of one of the most successful series of our generation. Some of the items include Royal Guard vinyls, Sandtrooper figures, 400% and 100% sets of Bearbrick Ewoks and sets of Kubrick Bounty Hunters. The exhibition begins June 23rd till July 2nd.

Here is the latest from Vans which includes a SK8-Hi and Slip-On featuring a variety of different prints all placed in checkerboard fashion. The prints include dessert camo, and different forms of plaid. Other new Vans models include a kimono cloth Era and Chukka as well as dot ring Chukka. Available now at Zozo Town.
Levi’s Fenom recently released some new items which include the Chack Western shirt and the Under Thunder pocket tee. The Chack Western button-up shirt features accents alongside plaid. The colors include red, purple and gray. The Under Thunder pocket tees are available in indigo blue, black and white. Each feature the trademark Fenom logo overlapped by a chest pocket. The chest pocket features a double flap for security unlike conventional pockets. Available at the Honeyee Store.
Here is the latest sneaker to be revealed in Active’s exclusive Drop Sneaker Not Bombs campaign. The Active x DC Mismatch Pure sports the tag line “You are a weapon for peace.” and is one of the most colorful shoes in the series to be revealed so far. The DC Mismatch pure features a combination of premium leathers and suede and will be available July 7, 2007 at all Active locations.
As we have mentioned previously, Active is working in collaboration with seven of the most recognized footwear brands in skateboarding to raise awareness, inspire postive change and raise money for Invisible Children. UNDFTD has unveiled some of their upcoming New Era Fitteds slated to drop later this week. The hat has a lot going on with a variety of UNDFTD references such as the trademark 5 Strikes logo as well as the UNDFTD man. Expected release is Saturday, June 23rd.

Nonnative recently dropped two new variations of their Standard Trainer Hi. Now available in both canvas and leather these sneakers give you that classic high top look with a bit of variation through the introduction of new designs and materials. The canvas editions are priced at approximately 19,740 Yen ($160 USD) and available in green, white and black. The leather editions come in black and white at a price tag of approximately 26,040 Yen ($210 USD). Available now at Stilly.
Cassette recently gave us a chance to preview the upcoming Fall/Winter 2007 line. This collection prides itself on themes drawn from up north in Alaska. Alaska in a way is comparable to solitude, and the last footprint of modern day civilization. As well Alaska evokes several different emotions for us, most prominently one’s battle against the elements.
For this Fall/Winter line up, Cassette have taken to the use of old age tested and true fabrics such as British Millerain wax cotton, a fabric that has proved its water repellency since the 1800s. As well, Cassette have renewed their dedication to 100% Merino Wool due to its properties as one of the finest wools available. Although on the surface, Cassette products may feel as though they are simply clean, details unearthed give you that complexity in design regarding fit and internal construction every time you put on your garment.
July 20th will see the debut of the latest Super 33 Collection designed by the European branch of New Balance. Former Super Team 33 themes included tropical fish and plaid/stingray. This pack was created with Fanzines in mind, a staple amongst European subculture. A Fanzine can be simply described as a non-professional publication by a group who share a common interest with their audience. Designers of this collection attuned it to New Balance’s credo to making shoes in that much like the commitment, hard work and dedication exhibited by early Fanzine creators, New Balance follows that same route with their handmade and pride ladened sneakers.
The Fanzine Collection is based on the iconic 1994 released, 1400 model. The upper is comprised of full grain leather with detailed prints. The leather will be characteristically New Balance, of the highest quality for this top of the line range. The shoes itself have strong visually ties to the amateur magazines they represent, dots on the vamp and the midsole represent the period key as seen on old typewriters while colors reflect the most popular colors chosen for these magazines. Often red or blue was the basis for black font for the most pop. The portion of the clear midsole reflects various different languages which in essence is a testament to the global diversity of Fanzines.
