On Wednesday, May 30th, Electrowerkz in London will play host to the Peoples Market Mash-Up. A collection offered by Dexter Wong titled “Peoples Market” will be showcased, worn by some of today’s club kid leaders. Peoples Market will also showcase the talents of mash-up artists versed in race, rock, and rap. Check the details after the jump for the list of artists

New Balance will launch a limited edition “Vegas Collection†this August, a pack consisting of four different color ups of a the popular 574 model. Taking cues from the poker phenomena, New Balance incorporated details like green felt collar linings, a raised rubber printed suit pattern and four different kings on the outsole of each pair of sneakers. The shoes will be more limited than usual 574 models and will retail for $80.

Sophnet. recently updated their store with some new items. Included in these new releases are a Serge Mouille (influential French lighting fixture designer) t-shirt, an exclusive I Love F.C.R.B. (Football Club Real Bristol) polo as well as a collaboration Sophnet. x Island Slipper. Island Slipper is sandal company that has manufactured slippers on the island of Hawaii since 1946 and has been an iconic part of Hawaiian culture.
New Balance has just released a classic from the 80’s in the form of the P428B. This low cut basketball sneaker features updated colorways but still maintains the classic mesh toe box and technical features such as Abzorb cushioning which has enabled it to surpass the test of time and still be worthy of a retro. It is currently available in three colorways from Mita, black, blue and purple.
JB Classics have consistently produced some riveting designs and created a name for themselves within all independent sneaker brands. Their latest preview appears to feature purple quilted suede with a red leather upper. This is matched alongside a speckled midsole and one of the craziest soles we’ve ever seen with a mind boggling combination of colors and hues.
Here’s a look of a sample Air Max 1 “Sunrise”. Although the brightly colored gradient midsole is very noticeable, we could not help but notice the 3M reptilian upper that has been making its rounds lately on various different shoes. This particular Air Max model does feature a mesh toe box alongside a patent leather upper as well. No word yet on this sneakers release.
