Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles will have the James Jarvis exhibition on Friday July 28th. A secret toy will available on the night of the event.
James Jarvis will be exhibiting some of his preparatory drawings from “Vortigern’s Machine and the Great Sage of Wisdomâ€Â. These hand drawn A4 sketches map the early development of the artwork and offer an insight into the workings of the artist’s mind as he attempted to turn his confused vision into a coherent reality. The drawings include early versions of the main characters and others that did not quite make it.
Meltdown Comics is LA’s premier comic store and is often frequented by some of Hollywood’s finest. They have been a long time supporter of James’ work and Amos Toys. The exhibition will last from July 28th until August 28th.
James will be making a personal appearance on the opening night where, from 6pm, he will sign whatever is put in front of him (within reason).

This is the picture of the Jordan Brand’s Spiz’ike. The shoe that combines elements from The Air Jordan III, IV, V and VI. All of the mentioned shoes besides Michael Jordan were endorsed also by the famous filmmaker Spike Lee. It’s a clear continuation of a the Dub Zero model which was popular among the public. The concept was highly criticized by the sneaker communities, but became a huge seller. JB is hoping to capitalize on the popularity of the earlier Jordans.
It releases in March of 2007 and retails for $175.

King Stampede have just released their latest collaborations with New Era. Among all available designs this 59Fifty caps seems to be the most interesting.
The Air Jordan III inspired hat comes with a cement print, a corresponding colorway and a Vinte Tres stitching in the back to commemorate the legendary number 23. This will perfectly match the shoes, that will drop next year.
