Remember the all-overprint Tenderloin hoodie by Huf? It was a hoodie that contained objects like a razor blade, a butterfly knife, stiletto heels, crack viles and other things to give an idea of what the Tenderloin district was about. Now DQM will have their own edition of the hoodie with images that interprets the Bowery area of NYC. Things like a big rat, handcuffs, beer cans, syringes, pills, and sunglasses will be printed on it. Show your pride for the Bowery when these joints drop.
Also, if you haven’t heard yet. Huf will be coming out with a special Tenderloin Varsity Jacket. The jacket is embroidered with patches of stiletto heels, a butterfly knife, and a 40ounce bottle. At the front of the jacket the print reads, “The Tenderloin, home of the crackheads and junkies of San Francisco, California.”

Here are some images of Futura working on the Event Horizon exhibit that will be opening tomorrow. As you can see Futura was hard at work preparing canvases, painting, drawing, and doing everything to have his exhibit done on time for the opening. He started on a few middle sized paintings, as well as large canvases. One of the more impressive pieces he’s doing for the show are his portraits of the “dudes” which were done in red paint and surrounded by a black background. This is definitely a must see for those around HK tomorrow. Also check out the mini diary by WINDman from Hong Kong who provided the images as well. See more at NikeSB.Org.
If you’re in the Los Angeles area and haven’t seen the UNDFTD Billboard lately, check it out when you have the chance. It has a really nice Happy Holidays picture of Photographer Terry Richardson and his dog in Santa Hats. Surely this should put a smile on your face and get you going in a holiday mood.
