I don’t know what these are called other than the Nike Beach Pack which will be released next year in 2006. According to halfmanhalfdunk on Niketalk, “the Beach Pack has water resistant material that dries the minute your step out of the water. With the reinforced heel strap, these will not slip off your feet while you are in water 3ft or deeper.”
Japan is probably the no. 1 place for the best collaborations (but probably the most expensive as well). This time, Comme des Garcons is working with North Face to create these very nice looking Jackets. This series is called the EYE series and it’s designed by Japanese fashion mogul Junya Watanabe. The Nike Diamond (Tiffany) Dunks are just coming around the corner so Diamond and UNDFTD has collaborated to produce this one of a kind tee! The UNDFTD logo will be in a snake skin design which will totally match your beloved Tiffany Dunks. Picture via Niketalk.
One of the Team Manager series often overlooked due to the monolith status of the Diamond dunk seems to be sneaking up on many Nike Skateboarding collectors. This Blazer, designed by REAL Team Manager Mickey Reyes, features black perforated leather and suede uppers, with the Blazer’s signature Swoosh in the goldish-orange color, Gold Post. The insoles are furnished with beautiful artwork; it is a shame that you can not see them while wearing the shoes. For those that worry about sock buds, this has a leather interior that repels against said effect. As with most SB’s the price depends on how much your local shop is charging, but there is little hype so they should be relatively inexpensive for an SB. Pictures from Essense
