Bread & Butter Berlin Part 2.
Thanks to Kevin, I could share my Berlin experience with you. As promised, here comes second part of the Berlin report exclusively for hypebeast. This time my focus will be on the trade show called Bread & Butter, Berlin. As previously said by Michilin, the Nike booths were disapointing. First one featured a football (or you may want to call it soccer) inspired collection – Nike Zero Six Collection and a second womens shoes collection that we’ve already seen long time ago. Nike Booth:
Coming back to the subject, the show itself was ok but I really didn’t see anything that would knock me down. Maybe except from the booth of guys from Switzerland (yes they make cheese, chocolate and best watches there) called +41. They are creators of the dopest tees (that are not famous) I’ve seen in a while. They had some collabos with nike and others in their portfolio. There will be a feature on them in the immediate future so be on the look out. I’ve had a nice little chat with them and it appeared, that they are responsible for the chocolate Vandal.
The funniest thing that happened was when I’ve encountered Dada’s booth (urban label with spinners and whole lot of AF1 knock offs). As everybody knows, their “designs” are one of the least original but they yelled at guy who wanted to snap some pictures like it was some top secret stuff (a’la AJXXI).
Unlike the Michilin, I got the PONY crew to let me take a pix, but wasn’t allowed to take pictures from the Converses both so I guess we’re even on this one. New joints by Snoop – Gangsta:
Overall it was great show, even though I didn’t got to see the Air Jordan XXI.
Everything was prepared extremly well. While entering to different zones and booths your tickets were scanned. There were specially assigned areas to lay down on huge cushions. You could get a foot massage or grab something fresh to eat and drink. Everything was top notch.
