He belonged to the record label “Ariwa Sounds” so therefore “Ariwa” is on the back of the shoe. The yellow and green colors reflect the Jamaican colors where Mad Professor was originally from. The Sole Collector Even was taken place at Niketown in Honolulu, Hawaii. From the pictures posted on the ISS Forum, there was a ton of hot shoes for the competition. The winner of the shoe competition got to take away a pair of black patent leather laser Lundy Dunks. There was also 6 pairs of special laser Dunks auctioned off and one pair sold for $6000!

Here are some upcoming sneakers from adidas via Crooked Tongues Forum! They include the adidas Superskate, the ZX500 and the Metro Attitudes in a snakeskin style! The Metro Attitudes will be coming out in June but the release dates for the rest are unknown.

These are the New Balance x Fiberops 574 3rd year anniversary model which resemble a bit like the adidas Oddity series because of the use of multiple colors. When it will be released? I have no idea.

“It has been a restless week for Michael Lau and the CS team staying up till the wee hours almost every day in getting ready for ‘Mr. Shoe Shop (Sample)’ Exhibition. As the KiX-Files crew arrived at the venue, michael gallery, around 11am, 20 to 30 people already formed a queue at the door. The grand opening, originally scheduled at 12 noon, was delayed to 2pm as some of the display supplies and most of the souvenir items were not delivered to the gallery until noon time. The considerate CS team proceeded to relieve the crowd by passing out admission priority chips and advising individuals to return in a couple of hours. However, the act only dissipated part of the line as die-hard fans and collectors remained at the site in hopes of being the first people to attend the show as well as purchasing the quantity-limited souvenirs.”
