Dave Prowse, the original actor that played Darth Vader, has had New Balance create a pair of New Balance Darth Vader 577s for himself. The Darth Vader 577s are in black nubuck with a red N that symbolizes the color of Darth Vader’s light sabre. In addition, New Balance also created two more 577s dedicated with C3PO and R2D2. Only two pairs of Darth Vader 577s are made. The C3PO and R2D2 are limited to only one pair each. One pair of the Darth Vaders will be given away in a contest in August’s Empire magazine. Here is the Nike Dunk SB which will be released sometime in June. I like the fact that the inner part of the tongue is pink. Other than that, these look too much like regular general release Dunks. The Fatlace event hosted by Nike SB recently took place at FTC. At the event, there was a ton of shoes and samples on display including the Nike SB Tiffany and Stussy. In addition, MNNF Paper Dunks by Miyaziki Kyushu were on display as well. Check out Fatlace & 5D for more pictures of the event!
