Beneath Shop Review

BENEATH has upped and left the island of Sodermalm in Stockholm, its home for a year for the island of Kungsholmen, to what was once a photography lab on the third floor of an old silver factory. The entrance to the new store is a non-descript doorway on a back street, three floors up in the industrial buidling is the store. The interior was created by UK illustration duo Andrew Rae and Chrissy Macdonald from collective www.peepshow.org.uk, the entire interior will be re-designed by a new team of creatives this autumn.

The store contniues to push its unique concept of high fashion
colliding with exclusive sports and rare street wear. Beneath has
fashion brands such as Kim Jones (UK), Henrik Vibskov (Dk), Behnaz Aram (swe), Comme de Garcons – PLAY (Jap), Jaren Walker (Nz) alongside Nike – white Label, Umbro by Kim Jones and Visvim. Street wear labels Goodenough UK, Gimme 5 (uk), Tonite (uk), Pricele$$ (Us), aNYthing and Stussy Custom-made supplement the store.
BENEATH alos stocks a range of independent magazines, fanzines from
aorund the world such as Pavemnet Licker, Odd, Sneaker Freaker, Arkitip and Texfield to name but a few..
