to you health experts out there, give me a simple exercise/diet routine good for dudes trying to shave some serious pounds. not trying to look like some huge body builder. im 6'0 250lbs, i'd like to lose somewhere around 30-40 lbs...being half filipino and raised on my filipino side, white rice is a big part of my diet which i know is bad.

First, cut off the white rice/noodles/pasta. I know Filipino food has a lot of meat (especially pork), so cut that off as well. Go for lean protein (chicken, fish, etc).

Then cut off fast food and soft drinks. Stick to water.

Raise your protein intake, lower your carbs(stick to: whole grain breads, veg/fruit, brown rice) consume good fats(OO, nuts, flax). Lower your calorie intake to around 500 calories less than what it would take for you to maintain your current weight. Divide your meals into 6 smaller meals. Do three full body work outs a week or break your body parts into different days and hit the weight 4-5 days a week, cardio for 20-30 min, after you weight train, 30-60 min on your non weight days. You dont have to do cardio every single day, but I'd do at least 5 days a week. If your a bigger dude with a pretty high body fat percentage you'll loose a good amount of weight pretty quickly, but you'll hit a wall and it will start to become more difficult, but if you stick with the above you should be fine. Also, if your going to cheat on your diet, try to keep it to one meal per week then get back on track.

im fully filipino and to all those pinoys, kare kare and lechon is fatty as ass
just dont eat it , find a healthier alternative, cut the rice out.

Excercise 2/3 times a day and its all good

it's a psychological thing, u don't even need to work out to lose weight, start by not eating all that shit u consume each day, youknow exactly what i'm talking about. wasting all that money on junk, how about you eat smaller portions like 6 days a week and pig out on the 7th, LOAL, ROUNTAW

^^truth. also doing cardio (10-15 minutes high or 35-40 minutes low) like almost every day if possible helps, if you dont plan on working out. you dont even need to go on a treadmill, the bikes are ok too.
